Cillit Bang on Slate

Hello, We have slate tiles in our bathroom which got coated in limescale. I've tried cleaning them with Cillit Bang which made things worse. Can you help? Many thanks, James.

Cillit Bang is Acidic so it will have damged the sealer on your slate, but I doubt it would damage the Slate itself as it is not Acid sensitve. Best to clean the Slate of its remaining Sealer, with a product we sell called Remove and Go, and then rinse the Tiles, and the Re-seal with 4 coats of Tile Doctor Seal and Go, fo more information on how to achieve the best results go our dedicated slate web page, link below:
