*Maintenance of Polished Carrara Marble Mosaic tile*

Asked by Theresa from Prospect:	Hi We are just about to tile our kitchen splashback with polished carrara marble mosaic tiles . Was this a wise choice as I am now a little scared of the high maintenance involved? If I use them, do they need to be sealed before installation and / or after and what should I use to clean them.

TileProf says:	It will probablly be okay if you are aware that Marble, especially Polished Marble is Acid Sensitive, and things like Coca-Cola, Tea, Coffe, Orange juice, Vinegar Red and White wine all have Acid properties to them, so as long as you dont spill them this will be fine.
