*Striations on tiles*

Asked by Richard Whyte from Whitchurch, Cardiff:	I have lifted a carpet that had been laid over a late victorian tiled hall floor. I've cleaned the floor but there are still diagonal striations which undoubtally have been caused by something leaching out of the rubber underlay into the tiles. Do you have any products or procedures that will remove these? Regards, Richard Whyte

TileProf says:	Hi Richard, This may or may not come out, but the process we use is by using Remove and Go and a product called Nnao-tech mixed together 50-50 and then left to soak for an hour, after which time the Tiles are scrubbed with warm water and then you will need a wet vac to take up the grime and dirt, rinse and vac with cold water the second time and the if the marks are still their then if you ahve a steamer then this is the time to use it.
