*Dirty, unsealed red and black victorian tiles.*

Asked by Cherie Oliver from Kent:	Hi. We've got an 110yr old house that used to have the red and black tiles in the porch. When we moved in the tiles had been removed and concreted over. I have since managed to source some reclaimed tiles, which we've had laid. My problem is that the tiles are dirty and need to be cleaned. I'd really like to seal them as well, so as to stop them getting in such a bad way again. Because it is the porch area, I don't want anything that is going to be slippy, and also because of the nature of the tiles, we don't want a high gloss finish, as that wouldn't be how the tiles would have been when first laid over a hundred years ago. Any advise would be gratefully received. Cherie
