use of grout sealing
Asked by Val Coleman from Dorridge, Solihull, West Midlands:
My plumber has just cleaned up my fairly old white shower grouting, and also replaced some of it. He has used a grout whitening pen and has re-siliconed around the shower tray. Would the use of this pen prevent me from using your grout sealing product, and how soon after this renovation work should I use it? I would appreciate your comments. Many thanks.
TileProf says:
Hi Val, Not a big fan of the pens, they dont last long we find, you could strenghen the length it lasts by sealing over it, Tiles as well, with Tile Doctor Grout seal and Go, see link below, polish off any drip marks as they develop once you atart srpaying the formula onto the Tiles and Grout. http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/GroutSealer.html http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/Aqua-Pro-Tile-Cleaner.asp Russell Taylor Tile Doctor Ltd
