grout discoloured
Asked by SHARON BENISTON from LINCOLNSHIRE:
I had kitchen tiles laid 3 months ago, they are cream sparkly granite witha limestone grout. The grout has gone really dirty after constant cleaning they do not look any better.I degrouted them all last week and ere-grouted but after a week you can see the same problem appearing. We are a very clean house and the floor gets mopped reularly.Do you have any ideas to the problem Many Thanks Sharon
TileProf says:
Hi Sharon, Have you tried soaking your grout with a grout sealer such as Grout seal and Go, see link, use the pippettes, that come with it to really saok the grout with, this will take 4 hours to dry < 24 hours for waterproofing > but this system works really well we find.
