not waterproof
Asked by deirdre pope from devon:
We used Mapei waterproof coloured grout (limestone) on a floor about 2 weeks ago but it is not waterproof - water soaks in, darkens it then it dries.
TileProf says:
Hi Deidre, That is quite common, it doesnt mean the grout is not fully waterproof, its just the grout dye changing colour due to it getting wet, the water wont soak all the way through though. if you want to stop the colour change you can apply a grout sealer on top and this will prevent it darkening.
